He headed The Tribune for nearly 10 years as General Manager, reporting to the Board of Trustees and responsible for managing overall business operations and general management of the organisation.

Ms. Dipika Kashyap

General Secretary

Ms. Dipika Kashyap is currently the Chief Operating Officer (Asia-Pacific and Europe/Middle East/Africa Region), of Red Hat, an IBM company. She served as the Country Leader and Head Strategy, Business Planning and Operations for Oracle India. She has over 2 decades of rich industry experience in multiple domains including Sales, Strategy, Business Development, in organisations such as Oracle Corporation, Dell Services, GE and Reliance, amongst others. She has a Masters in Business and a Bachelors in Engineering.

Rajan Kashyap,
IAS (retd)

Vice President

Mr. Rajan Kashyap, IAS served as the Chief Information Commissioner for Punjab. He served as Chief Secretary to the Government of Punjab. During his various appointments with the Punjab Government, he promoted the adoption of various forms of public-private partnership. He served as an Independent Director of Escorts Heart Centre Limited and Fortis Healthcare Ltd. Mr. Kashyap has a Master's of Philosophy degree in Development Economics from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.

Mr. Ajaipreet Singh Takhar

Mr. Ajaipreet Singh Takhar is a businessman with interests in Telecom, Warehousing and FMCG besides being an Agriculturist. He comes with vast experience in companies like Johnson & Johnson and Bharti AirTel in Sales and Channel Development. He is the founder of Ches'nut Outsourcing, a pioneer in documentation in India. He is based out of Chandigarh.

Ms. Vibha Puri Das,
IAS (retd)

Executive Member

Ms. Vibha Puri Das completed her stint of 37 years with the government, in December, 2013, having worked as Secretary Government of India, in the Ministries of Human Resource Development, and Tribal Affairs. Ms. Das served in diverse assignments in the state and Union government after completing a Masters in Political Science from JNU. Ms. Das has worked with and alongside multilateral agencies, on issues of child labour, food safety, human rights for underprivileged. She served as Electricity Ombudsman, an appellate body for grievance redress in Uttarakhand and is presently associated with a clutch of development organisations in Dehradun and elsewhere.

Mr. Rajeev Ahal

Mr. Rajeev Ahal’s schooling took place in Jammu, Sanawar in Himachal and Delhi. He lived and worked with tribal communities in Nadurbar in Maharashtra and moved in 2004 to Lesotho in Africa, where he advised the establishment of its first ever Local Government system. Followed by a short stint in Ghana, he moved to Mumbai in 2011, helping establish developmental projects for the social inclusion wing of IL&FS. In 2016, he went back to working for GIZ, an international development agency. His thirty years of rural development work has seen Rajeev travel across 21 countries and most corners of India, experiencing the varied contexts of these societies. He currently lives in Delhi, dividing time between his passion for his work and for bird watching, photography, travelling and reading.

Mr. Balbir Singh is Additional Solicitor General, Government of India. The Delhi High Court designated him Senior Advocate in May 2015, at the age of 42 years. He practices before the Delhi High Court and Supreme Court of India. He is a member of the Bar Association of Delhi High Court, Supreme Court of India and International Bar Association.

Mr. Gupta is a senior corporate executive based in the USA, who works closely with businesses and leaders worldwide on global transformation, workforce and location strategy initiatives. He has extensive international experience at global firms like JP Morgan & Chase, Morgan Stanley and Citigroup in strategy and advisory roles. He has a Masters in International Business and a Bachelors in Engineering.

Mr. Harsh Vardhan Bassi

Mr. Bassi is a graduate in Commerce from Punjab University, and took to business at a very young age. Delving into manufacturing, business development, marketing and other business verticals, he has gained tremendous experience in International marketing of textiles, having successfully interacted with renowned fashion labels worldwide. He is the Managing Director of Pioneer Embroideries Ltd one of the very well-known companies in textile space in India. He is also the founder of Beeline Sourcing, a buying agency representing a host of international fashion brands in India and running their supply chain.

Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sood

Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sood is an epidemiologist and public health professional in govt. sector-based at Dharamshala presently District level manager of Disease Control Programmes under National Health Mission, in Kangra District of HP, a hill state in north India. He is striving for universal access to TB care and improving utilization of IT to track TB. He has recently initiated a preventive health check-up scheme for early detection of Non-communicable diseases. His other assignment includes Disease Surveillance, Blindness Control, Deafness Prevention & Control & Leprosy Elimination.

Mr. Sandeep Bajaj

Mr. Sandeep Bajaj is an advocate registered with Bar Council of Delhi and is practicing in the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, High Courts and Company Law Tribunals. Mr. Bajaj is also a Standing Counsel of SDMC and is a Senior Panel Counsel for Union of India. He has been appointed as Special Counsel for Cantonment Board as well as Govt. Of NCT of Delhi. Mr. Bajaj has represented renowned corporate houses and their promoters in complex commercial matters and have also taken up various pro-bono matters related to medical negligence, education, protection of women and children for people.

Mr. Anurag Kashyap

Mr. Anurag Kashyap has sold pagers and mobile connections, and has worked with Government agencies and helped frame PPP policies, and worked with corporations in the implementation of their CSR programs. He is currently spearheading Shakti Foundation, a non-profit he co-founded, which is empowering communities by providing them dignified livelihoods, financial literacy, and capability building for young students. He has a Masters in Business and a Bachelors in Engineering
